PNHB - DRCSS - March 7, 8, 9, 2019

The Band Departments in Dauphin will be hosting its annual Parkland/NorMan Regional Honor Band this year on the dates of March 7th, 8th and 9th , 2019.

This event, held between United Church and the DRCSS will include band students and their directors from all over the Parkland and NorMan areas and is open to all Dauphin students (grade 8 – 12).

Students will spend three intensive days in full and sectional rehearsals under the direction of master educators/conductors and instrument specialists from both the Brandon University and University of Manitoba Schools of Music. The event will conclude with a concert on Saturday, March 9th, at 1:00 PM in the DRCSS MPR Room.

This event represents an outstanding opportunity for our students to enhance their music education in a highly motivated setting and to meet and play with students from numerous band programs from around the province. The experience will provide our students with many hours of high quality instruction on their instruments and will be remembered fondly for years to come.
